Our key partner, a boutique NDIS provider in Melbourne, is seeking a Disability Liaison Officer to play a pivotal role in effectively fostering relationships with potential NDIS participants and healthcare professionals.

Role and Responsibilities:


This client-facing role is ideal for someone with a strong network in the NDIS ecosystem and a passion for connecting people with the support they need. You will be responsible for:

Identifying and engaging potential clients and partners to support NDIS-linked services.
Building and maintaining relationships with NDIS participants, support coordinators, therapists, and other stakeholders.
Conducting outreach activities, including cold calls, meetings, and attending network events.
Representing the organisation at industry and community engagement events.
Collaborating with internal teams to tailor service offerings to client needs and funding arrangements.
Tracking and analysing outreach activities to improve client acquisition strategies.

About You:


We are looking for a confident communicator with a deep understanding of the NDIS and a proven ability to build referral networks. You will bring:
Experience as a Support Coordinator, Liaison Officer, or Client Relations professional in the disability sector.
Strong knowledge of NDIS plan goals, funding streams, and eligibility criteria.
Understanding of the stakeholder network within the NDIS ecosystem, including and not limited to NDIA offices, support coordination providers, allied health professionals, and community groups.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
A mature, resourceful, and patient approach to navigating complex client needs.
A track record of meeting or exceeding client acquisition targets.
Self-motivation, organisation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Essendon North, VIC, with regular travelling requirements. The salary on offer aligned with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Awards Level 4.

Additional information:


You must be willing to undergo a Working with Children Check, NDIS screening check and National Police Check.
The role may involve travel and working outside regular hours to meet stakeholder needs.
