Recovery Options is a boutique registered NDIS provider, set up to bridge the gap between large-style corporate organisations and those wanting a more personalised service.

Recovery Options is the Premier National Disability Insurance Scheme provider servicing the Yarra Valley and its surrounds, servicing areas in the East and Outer East of Melbourne.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable team of skilled Disability and/or Aged Care support workers to join our in-home care team and assist a middle-aged woman recovering from a stroke. Our client has lost mobility on one side of her body and is working towards regaining her independence and walking again.

Services will begin end of June or early July. As a key member of the support team, you will assist with a variety of needs including:

Key Responsibilities:


Support with mobility and rehabilitation exercises.
Assist with personal care, including showering and hygiene.
Help with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and other chores.
Assist with social and community participation, encouraging engagement and support.
Provide transport to medical appointments and outings as needed.

Team Structure & Working Hours:


We are looking to build a team of 2 to 4 skilled support workers to share shifts.

Monday to Friday:
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Saturday & Sunday:
3 hours (timing to be confirmed)

Shifts may increase depending on the needs of the client.

Ideal Experience: Previous experience in the following roles is highly regarded:


· Disability Support Worker.

· Personal Care Assistant.

· Nursing.

· Community Support Worker.

- Allied Health Worker.

- Aged Care Worker.

Mandatory:


· Current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).

· NDIS Screening Check ( or willingness to obtain).

· NDIS Orientation Module.

· Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain).

· Other prerequisites may be required or discussed prior to the interview.

Mandatory:


Any qualifications related to Disability, Aged Care, Nursing, Individual Support, and related fields. These can be certificates, diplomas, or degrees.
