About the Role
We are seeking 2-3 experienced support workers to provide in-home and community access support for a 33-year-old woman with Angelman syndrome. This role involves manual transfers, personal care, and medication administration, so demonstrated experience in these areas is essential. In addition, weekend work at our beautiful, purpose-built short-term respite home, supporting participants in a welcoming and well-resourced environment.
Additional key requirements:
- Proven experience with personal care and manual transfers
- Medication administration experience
- Current Open Australian Driverโs Licence
- A calm, respectful, and person-centred approach
Shift availability required:
Monday: 6:30am โ 9:30am (in-home)
Tuesday: 6:30am โ 9:30am (in-home)
Wednesday:
6:30am โ 9:30am (in-home)
9:15am โ 2:45pm (CAS)
Thursday: 6:30am โ 9:30am (in-home)
Friday:
6:30am โ 9:30am (in-home)
9:15am โ 2:45pm (CAS)
Saturday: 6:30am - 9:30am (in-home)
Saturday: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Respite)
Sunday: 6:30am - 9:30am (in-home)
Sunday: 6:00am - 4:00pm (Respite)
With the potential of extra hours sometimes (until 10:30am instead of 9:30am).

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- Current Australian Driverโs Licence
