House Manager β SIL (Complex Client) NDIS

We are seeking an experienced and motivated House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality, person-centred supports for participants with complex needs, while providing leadership and guidance to the support team.
About the Role:
The House Manager will be the primary point of contact for families, participants, and staff within the home. You will oversee daily operations, staff management, compliance, and ensure that the house provides a safe, supportive, and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day running of the SIL home, ensuring participant wellbeing, safety, and engagement.
Act as the first point of contact for families regarding concerns, updates, and support planning.
Lead, support, and supervise staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred supports.
Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), and restrictive practice protocols.
Implement and oversee behaviour monitoring systems (ABC charts, frequency/duration recording, daily tracking, and restrictive practice logs) to ensure consistent data collection for review and reporting.
Manage rosters, shift coverage, and ensure accurate and timely shift notes and documentation.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including support coordinators, plan managers, and allied health professionals.
Conduct regular risk assessments, incident reviews, and ensure continuous improvement within the home.
Oversee house resources, including vehicles, property maintenance, and participant contributions.
About You:
Strong experience in disability or community services (minimum 2 years in a leadership or senior support role).
Sound knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and SIL compliance requirements.
Experience in behaviour data collection and monitoring (e.g. ABC charting, behaviour frequency tracking, restrictive practice reporting).
Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain professional relationships with families and stakeholders.
Organised, proactive, and confident in problem-solving.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, First Aid/CPR, and valid Driverβs Licence.
(Desirable) Qualification in Disability, Community Services, or related field.
