About Figtree

Figtree is a support work provider for people with psychosocial disability. We believe that support relationships built on empathy, authenticity, and mutual respect provide a meaningful context in which people can organise their lives in ways that support their welfare. We take a humanistic approach and focus on developing collaborative relationships that support participants in their daily functioning and progress towards goals.

The rationale for establishing Figtree comes from our experience working with NDIS participants with psychosocial disability and their support network. We recognise the importance of consistent, person-centred support and aim to address factors that have challenged the development of optimal care for this population. We seek to build a community that works collectively to bring better care and support to people with psychosocial disability. We hope to provide the difference that makes a difference.
