NDIS Support Coordinator

Huntington's Australia provides services and advocacy to improve the lives of Australians impacted by Huntington's disease (HD) and other disabilities under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Aligned to Huntington's Australia's strategic objectives, this role provides specialist support to people with HD to activate and manage their NDIS plans and engage with a range of mainstream and disability providers to optimise outcomes and achieve their NDIS plan goals.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years experience in NDIS support coordination.

Previous experience working with clients with neurological conditions is required.

Key components include and not limited to:

1. Compliance with NDIS standards for client support and advocacy, and accuracy of administration requirements.

2. Achievement of NDIS client goals.

3. Broader education and integration of NDIS activities into Huntington Australia's core objectives.

4. Accurate and timely billing for NDIS services.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Multiple background checks including police check, NDIS Worker Screening, and working with vulnerable people clearances are required.
