Casual NDIS Support Worker – Ballarat Care Team
We are seeking dedicated, reliable and caring Support Workers to join Ella’s care team in Ballarat. The NDIS participant attends a specialist school and requires support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, structured routines, community access, play-based engagement and 24/7 supervision to ensure her safety and wellbeing.
This role involves supporting the participant in line with her care needs, routine and Behaviour Support Plan.
Shift Availability Required
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
3:45 PM – 10:00 PM
10:00 PM – 6:00 AM inactive night
Thursday, Saturday & Sunday
6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
10:00 PM – 6:00 AM inactive night
Regular availability for one or more of these shifts is preferred.
Personal care, showering and hygiene support
Meal support and daily routine assistance
Mobility support, including use of a stroller
Community access and engagement in play-based activities
Following structured routines and support strategies
Implementing behaviour support strategies in line with the BSP
Maintaining a safe, supportive and respectful environment
Providing active supervision and support during rostered shifts
Valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check
Police Check
Ability to work flexible rosters, including mornings, evenings and inactive nights
Reliable, patient and committed to person-centred support
Experience supporting participants with Autism, Intellectual Disability or Cerebral Palsy is highly regarded
