NDIS Support Worker

About the Role:
As an NDIS Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in helping individuals achieve their goals, maintain their wellbeing, and navigate the impacts of mental ill-health while participating fully in their communities. Many of the people we support experience fluctuating mental health, emotional distress, or reduced capacity at times, and require patient, consistent, and strengths-based support. Whether it’s assisting with daily living tasks or fostering opportunities for social and economic engagement, such as exploring & keeping a job, you’ll be making a tangible impact every day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting participants with daily living activities in line with their NDIS plans.
• Encouraging community participation and helping individuals build confidence in social and workplace settings.
• Providing person-centred care that respects individual choices and aspirations, using recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approaches.
• Collaborating with families, carers, and other professionals to deliver holistic support, including mental health and psychosocial supports.
• Upholding confidentiality, diversity awareness, and high professional standards, including appropriate boundaries and duty of care in complex situations.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate person who genuinely cares about making a difference. You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have a Cert III in Mental Health, Community Services, Disability Support, Peer Work or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hold a current SA driver’s licence.
• Have a DHS Working with Children Check and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Have experience providing community support, one-on-one client care, and working with individuals facing complex challenges.
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Understand the NDIS framework and have knowledge of disability and mental health-related issues.
