Position: Male NDIS Support Worker
Client: Young male stroke survivor
Schedule: 3 days per week (Total 13.5 hours)
About the Role
Seeking a reliable and supportive male worker to assist a young man recovering from a stroke. Support includes daily living tasks, community access, therapy support, and promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities
• Personal care and daily living assistance
• Support with mobility and stroke‑related challenges
• Transport and community engagement
• Simple cooking for breakfast
• Support with daily exercises
Requirements
• Male worker (for personal care privacy needs)
• Experience in disability or health support (preferred)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
• Good communication and a calm, patient approach
• Australian work rights are mandatory for this position
• Willingness to train candidates with no prior disability or health support experience
• NDIS Worker Screening Check must be obtained before starting work
