About the Opportunity:

At Recovery Plus Support, we are passionate about empowering individuals with psychosocial disabilities to live full and meaningful lives. Through our structured Recovery Coaching Framework, we equip our coaches with the tools, strategies, and support to walk alongside participants on their recovery journey.

We are now seeking a dedicated Psychosocial Recovery Coach to join our dynamic team. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to shape recovery outcomes and be part of something that truly makes a difference.

Support Locations Required: Bayside & Eastern Suburbs


Your Role:

As a Recovery Coach, you will deliver capacity-building supports that focus on:


Motivation and goal setting
Resilience and self-determination
Improved decision-making and life skills
You will work in partnership with participants to:
Build recovery-focused, respectful relationships
Develop tailored recovery plans and coordinate their implementation
Strengthen connections with informal, community, and clinical supports
Promote understanding of NDIS plans, budget management, and support utilisation
Ensure compliance with NDIS reporting and documentation standards

Clarifying Scope and Preventing Role Misalignment:


This is not a clinical, crisis intervention, or case management role. It’s designed for people who excel in strengths-based coaching and collaborative, participant-led recovery work.

About You

A strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice and the NDIS framework
Excellent time management, communication, and documentation skills
Confidence supporting participants in both community and virtual settings
Capacity to build respectful, culturally safe, and strengths-based relationships

Required Qualifications & Checks
To be eligible, you must hold (or be willing to obtain):


A relevant qualification (e.g. Cert IV in Mental Health, Diploma of Community Services, Psychology, Social Work) OR 1+ years of sector experience
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check (if applicable)
First Aid and CPR Certification
NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
Current driver’s license and comprehensive car insurance
Infection Control certificate (online accepted)

Highly Regarded Experience
