Quality Coordinator β In-Home Care
About Us: At Simply Helping, we are dedicated to supporting our 18 sites across Australia to provide exceptional in-home care services that enhance the quality of life for our clients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Coordinator to join our team reporting to the Quality & Governance Manager focusing on the implementation of the Support at Home program and the preparation and ongoing support of an electronic risk management software program and the development of monthly data analysis.
The Quality Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our in-home care services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a thorough understanding of Home Care Packages (HCP) and the ability to effectively prepare for and implement innovative solutions that enhance service delivery and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively support the preparation and implementation of the Support at Home program, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute strategies for the implementation of electronic risk management software, facilitating training and support for staff as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, ensuring adherence to best practices in in-home care, ie, NDIS, Community Nursing, SaH, etc.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of quality assurance initiatives.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to quality assurance and risk management for management review.
Qualifications/ Skills:
- Bachelorβs degree or Diploma in Nursing, Health, Social Services, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality coordination within the healthcare or in-home care sector.
- Strong knowledge of Home Care Packages (HCP) and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with electronic risk management systems and their implementation.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
