Angels on Wheels Pty Ltd is a NDIS registered support provider dedicated to empowering individuals to lead meaningful lives. Our services enhance well-being, promote independence, and help clients achieve their goals. Among our services we provide short-term and medium accommodation to clients in a secured facility with highly qualified staff. We are looking for two full-time Residential Care Officers to join our team in NSW.
Responsibilities & Duties
The duties for this position include:
- Providing high-quality support, skill development training and personal care to clients in our secured facilities.
- Collaborating as part of a team to optimise clients' well-being through health care plans and stay updated on changes to care plans and needs.
- Building strong relationships and ensuring client best interests are met.
- Working closely and collaboratively with clients, their families, allied health professionals and care team to ascertain client requirements, provide feedback and accommodate changes to client mobility, needs and plans.
- Assisting in the development of support plans to assist clients in achieving goals relating to individual support needs.
- Monitoring/reviewing delivery of services as per care plans, ongoing supervision, assessing difficulties and reporting on progress and issues.
- Liaising with support teams and other professionals as required.
- Periodic review of support plans together with families, allied health professionals and care team; review progress, identify issues and update plans as required.
- Working closely within a team setting to ensure smooth operations and safety of clients.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records, complete shift handovers and comply with policies and procedures.
Salary
The salary for this position is $76,600 per annum plus superannuation.

Requirements for the Role
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- At least a relevant diploma or higher qualification
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the disability industry
- Current unrestricted driver's license.
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (desirable).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear shift notes.
- Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration and autonomy.
- National Police Check (no older than 6 months).
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
