About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Rostering Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing rosters that balance participant needs, NDIS funding requirements, and compliance with the SCHADS Award. You’ll play a key role in ensuring continuity of care, effective use of resources, and smooth service delivery across our organisation.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable, and committed to delivering quality outcomes for both participants and staff. You’ll be confident in problem-solving under pressure and have strong knowledge of rostering in a disability, aged care, or community services setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and communicate accurate staff rosters aligned with participant care plans and NDIS funding guidelines.
Match staff to participants based on skills, qualifications, and preferences.
Manage last-minute changes such as sick leave, cancellations, or emergencies.
Ensure all rosters comply with SCHADS Award provisions.
Maintain accurate records in rostering systems for payroll, invoicing, and compliance.
Liaise with participants, families, and staff regarding roster changes.
Collaborate with operations, HR, and payroll to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide reporting on rostering efficiency, unfilled shifts, and utilisation rates.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong understanding of the SCHADS Award and its rostering requirements.
Knowledge of NDIS funding structures, including SIL and core supports.
Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Proficiency in rostering and CRM software (Ezaango experience highly desirable).
Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Certificate III/IV in Business Administration, Community Services, or equivalent (desirable).
