The Role

Danny Met Sally Support Coordination is growing, and we are looking for a dedicated and empathetic NDIS Support Coordinator to join our journey and purpose of delivering premium quality services to our Participants.

This role is being offered full time, remote/working from home and can be based anywhere in Brisbane or the surrounding region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building a genuine rapport and maintaining relationships with each Participant
  • Assist Participants to understand and utilise their NDIS plans
  • Connect Participants with suitable and necessary providers, while expanding their community and mainstream services
  • Assist Participants in building their skills and independence
  • Liaising with Participant and stakeholders to achieve best outcomes for the Participant
  • Managing an existing case load and connecting new Participants with our Support Coordination services
  • Networking with NDIS Service Providers to ensure Participants have an adequate choice of quality providers
  • Opportunity to assist in the roll out of specialist support coordination services at Danny Met Sally

About You

You will be passionate about supporting people with disabilities, promoting positive change, and creating a culture of empowerment.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years as a Support Coordinator, Specialist Support Coordinator experience highly desirable but not essential
  • Practical understanding and knowledge of the NDIS, including funding categories / allocations, processes, regulations and reviews
  • Tertiary qualification in disability, social work, or related field is desirable but not essential
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
  • Genuine desire to help others and achieve quality outcomes for Participants
  • Driversโ€™ License and own reliable transport
