Aged Care Support Worker, Disability Support

Moxie Consultancy works with people with a disability and their families to work towards a good life. We do this in a range of different ways, working with people with a disability, their family and supporters, businesses and teams.

Moxie is looking for a Support Coordinator / Recovery Coach to join our team. The right person will share Moxie's values, be able to manage their own workload, and work from home. 

Roles and responsibilities of the role includes but is not limited to:

  • Invest in building an authentic relationship with the person / family to best understand who they are and how to meet their needs
  • Work with people with a disability to understand and support the implementation of their NDIS plan
  • Support people to grow, learn and build their capacity in all areas
  • Liaise with stakeholders
  • Facilitate and manage meetings with stakeholders
  • Regular reporting to NDIS and Director of Moxie
  • Work collaboratively and respectfully 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology or Human Services is valued but not essential 
  • An understanding of NDIA legislation
  • Current drivers license and access to a vehicle
  • First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS workers screening, Blue Card and NDIS worker orientation module certificate
  • Experience is not essential - the right person is more important - however experienced practitioners are welcome to apply

The Scope of this position is fluid and can be altered to suit the right person. If the successful applicant has a tertiary qualification, there is potential to assist the Director in delivering training on "A Good Life' and deliver Specialist Support Coordination.

This will be a casual position with room for growth as needed and hours can be worked flexibly. There is an opportunity for the role to turn into a full or part time role if desired.
