Support workers

We are looking for an experienced female Support Worker for a consistent 9am-11am shift !!! Immediate start

About the role:

We are seeking Support Workers to assist with the provision of high-quality exceptional care to clients and participants currently engaged in Disability and Aged Care services.

Your goal will be to assist participants to engage and enhance their daily living skills, strengthen relationships with families and carers, enhance social connections and community networks, and grow confidence and independence to live safely in the community.

Main responsibilities and activities may include:

Provide a high quality and timely care support to all clients as directed by Home Caring
Assist clients in carrying out all self-care tasks as requested - Female client
Getting out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments (own vehicle essential)
Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation)
Assistance with medications
Light administrative duties (record maintenance, reporting)
Document service activities that support service outcomes

Requirements:

Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field.
Professional experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors.
Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus, and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances.
Worker screening check.
Current First Aid certificate and current CPR certificate.
Current Driver's Licence & access to a reliable vehicle.
The right to work in Australia.
