The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Illawarra team. In this role, you will provide leadership and support to a team of disability support workers, ensuring that services are delivered to the highest standard. You will work closely with participants, families, and our operations team to maintain compliance, foster positive relationships, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of disability support workers.
  • Ensure supports are delivered in line with NDIS standards, participant goals, and organisational values.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, rosters, and staff performance.
  • Manage incidents, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and development opportunities to team members.
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for service improvement and growth.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in the disability sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of the NDIS and relevant legislation.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, and National Police Check.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
