We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Wellbeing Coordinator's Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality wellbeing programs for veterans and their families. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and community-driven service that honours the service and sacrifice of our veteran community. As the Wellbeing Coordinator’s Assistant, you’ll work closely with our Wellbeing Coordinator to support veterans through the planning and facilitation of programs that promote connection, health, and personal growth. You will help coordinate events, maintain participant records, assist with individual support plans, and ensure veterans feel heard, valued, and supported.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assist with the delivery of wellbeing activities
• Help coordinate social events, workshops, and commemorations
• Support individual wellbeing plans and referrals
• Provide respectful, trauma-informed engagement with veterans
• Assist with administration, record keeping, and communication
• Liaise with families, support services, and community partners

What We’re Looking For
Essential:


• Genuine interest in supporting veterans and their families
• Certificate III/IV in Community Services or similar
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work as part of a team with empathy and professionalism
• Basic admin and digital skills (Microsoft Office 365 suite, email, data entry, scheduling)
• Reliability, compassion, and cultural sensitivity

Desirable:


• Lived experience as a veteran or veteran family member
• Experience in community services or veteran’s support
• Certificate III/IV in Community Services or similar
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Understanding of aged care services
