About the opportunity:
CareChoice currently have a fixed term opportunity to join our rostering team until the 4th of January.
The role is for our after hours operations.
The shifts are as follows - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 4pm - 10pm and Saturdays 3pm until 10pm.
As the newest member to our team, you’ll be responsible for the coordination of staff (including identifying and preparing appropriately skilled staff in line with client requirements), rostering and ensuring coverage of care for our clients in an after business hours capacity.
An afternoon in the life as a Care Coordinator with CareChoice, may see you:
Managing the coordination of our support workers and enrolled nurses to deliver disability services in line with client care requirements and preferences.
Prioritising and managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and ad hoc administration tasks.
Acting as the primary point of contact for our support staff and clients, responsible for building rapport and engaging with and rostering our casual workforce.
Providing advice and support for any immediate crisis situations and liaise with; clients, emergency services and frontline workers to achieve optimum outcomes.
About you:
As a passionate, reliable, and experienced care/ roster coordinator, you’ll have excellent verbal and written communication skills (including negotiation and problem-solving skills).
You will be calm under pressure, self-motivated, honest, have excellent business acumen and perform the role with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
Ideally, you’ll have:
Customer service and (not required but preferred) rostering experience
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and relationship management skills, coupled with a strong desire and willingness to learn
A passion for assisting others and building a strong and dedicated workforce
Ability to manage time effectively and meet established deadlines
Highly proficient with Microsoft word, Excel and knowledge of communication software.
Mandatory Requirements:
Valid and current Victorian Driver's Licence
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
