Occupational Therapy Allied Health Assistant (Casual Contract β Potential for Full-Time)

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Occupational Therapy Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our growing team. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with qualified occupational therapists in delivering therapeutic programs for clients with complex needs.
You will be responsible for supporting therapy delivery under supervision, conducting home and community visits, and assisting in the development and implementation of client-centred interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Occupational Therapists in implementing therapy programs and interventions.
Provide therapy support in clientsβ homes, schools, and community settings.
Accurately document session notes and report progress to supervising therapists.
Assist with therapy equipment setup, maintenance, and resource preparation.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality client outcomes.
Travel across Victoria to provide outreach and community-based support (vehicle provided).
Requirements:
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Occupational Therapy stream preferred)
OR
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (minimum second year).
Demonstrated experience working as an Allied Health Assistant in the disability or community sector.
Ability to work independently and remotely with excellent time management skills.
Confidence and competence working in the complex disability space.
Current driverβs licence (company car provided for travel).
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
