NDIS Finance and Quality Coordinator

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer with experience in the NDIS and/or aged care sectors to join our passionate team.

Key Responsibilities


Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
Generate invoices, monitor funding utilisation, and track expenditure against budgets.
Oversee aged care subsidy claims and ensure compliance with My Aged Care funding models.
Assist with financial reporting, audits, and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with NDIS Price Guide, Aged Care Quality Standards, and relevant funding rules.
Liaise with internal departments, support coordinators, Allied Health, and external providers as required.
Provide finance-related support to clients, plan managers, and families when appropriate.

Essential Criteria


Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or similar (or working towards).
Minimum 2 years experience in a finance role, preferably within NDIS, Aged Care, or community services.
Strong understanding of NDIS funding structures and compliance obligations.
Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software.
High attention to detail, excellent time management, and strong analytical skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Criteria


Experience with PRODA, My Aged Care portals, and NDIS plan budgets.
Knowledge of NDIS Support Categories and Unit Pricing.
Experience in preparing financial reports for audits and external stakeholders.
