Your opportunity

Full- Time, Monday to Friday - Taren Point (Woolooware Shores Retirement Village)

In this team leader role, you'll ensure our clients receive consistently exceptional care and service. You'll provide day‑to‑day leadership for your team while keeping operations running smoothly through effective rostering, communication and problem‑solving.

You'll also support your team in the field occasionally during staffing shortages, helping maintain continuity of care.

With integrity and resilience, you will:

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Care Workers and Domestic Assistants
• Manage daily schedules, fill roster gaps and coordinate leave
• Support staff with performance, coaching and recognition
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and stakeholders
• Ensure services are safe, high quality and person‑centred
• Complete required reporting and administrative tasks
• Provide direct care only when needed to maintain service continuity

What you'll bring

You're a calm, confident and supportive leader who thrives in community-based care. You communicate clearly, solve problems with empathy, and build strong, trusting relationships.

You will also need:

• Certificate III (or higher) in Aged Care, Community Services or equivalent
• Experience in community/home care and direct client care
• Strong people leadership or team‑leading experience
• Confident using technology, scheduling systems and mobile apps
• NSW Driver Licence + comprehensively insured vehicle

Ideal:

• Experience managing rosters
• Strong decision-making skills in high‑pressure or fast-paced environments
