About the Position:
This role is full-time permanent, currently on 100% Work-From-Home arrangement. This can change to include a few days in an office. Crucial part of the role involves client visit using employee’s own vehicle and can include other community/networking events.
The purpose of the NDIS Claims Officer role is to support the needs of the NDIS Plan Management clients as well as provide general finance operations support. Speed and accuracy is of the essence for this position. Some of the key duties in this role include:
- Accounts processing – provider invoices and client reimbursements
- Creating service bookings and processing claims on the NDIS Portal
- Resolving discrepancies and missing information with provider invoices in a timely fashion
- Maintaining client records in CRM (currently Careview)
- Liaising with NDIA with client plan queries and self-education
- Intake and induction of new clients
- General administrative duties
The purpose of the Intake Officer role is to provide high quality support to new and prospective participants, their families and providers to onboard to our service.
It is a predominately home visit and a phone and/or email service. Some of the key duties in this role include:
- Manage Intake phone calls, including queries from participants regarding how Bright Plan Management can assist with their NDIS packages and funded supports.
- Liaising with participants and/or their nominated supports for the purposes of onboarding them to our services, including a high percentage of converting queries into referrals.
- Setting up and maintaining service bookings and liaising other plan managers and the NDIA to resolve any plan and service booking issues.
- Establishing positive relationships with prospective participants, as well as new and ongoing referring providers.
- Collaborating with service teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new participants.
- Set up and/or maintain profiles and folders for new/existing participants, including all required administrative documentation.
- Liaise with the Client Services Lead to match the participant to the most appropriate Case Manager.
- Keep up to date records of prospective participants requiring follow up before onboarding.
- Market Intelligence & information gathering on market changes.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the NDIS through self-education and research.
- General administrative duties
About You
To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following criteria:
Essential Criteria
- Melbourne Metro location only
- Exceptional administration and data entry skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot I.T issues autonomously in a remote environment.
- Fast and stable home internet connection to support all working from home requirements.
- Highly efficient and organised with exceptional time management skills.
- Previous experience in accounts related role
- Proven experience in building relationships with participants, colleagues and stakeholders, including representing the organisation in community settings.
- Excellent customer service skills and demonstrable problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Quick on your feet, a fast learner and great with numbers.
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency with Excel and Word with the ability to learn and adapt to a variety of client management systems.
- Self-motivated and outcome orientated, with the capacity to deal with multiple and, at times, conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work independently, and think innovatively and proactively, as well as work collaboratively with colleagues in a remote environment.
- Experience in NDIS and the disability/community sector.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
- Possession of a current unrestricted driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

- Demonstrable experience in change and conflict management.
