About the Role
Ark Allied Care Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced NDIS Support Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing NDIS support services for our clients in the disability sector. As a NDIS Support Coordinator/ Specialist Support Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact, ensuring our clients receive the care and assistance they need to live independently and reach their personal goals.

What you'll be doing:
Develop and implement comprehensive NDIS support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
Coordinate and monitor the delivery of NDIS supports and services, ensuring they align with client needs and goals.
Liaise with NDIS service providers, government agencies and other stakeholders to facilitate the provision of supports.
Provide guidance and support to clients to help them understand and navigate the NDIS.
Regularly review and update client support plans to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with NDIS and organisational requirements.
Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our NDIS support services.
What we're looking for:
Relevant tertiary qualification in a community services, disability or social work discipline (preferred).
Minimum 2 years' experience working as a NDIS Support Coordinator or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of the NDIS and ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and policies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients.
Proficient in using client management systems and various software applications.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Current driver's license and willingness to travel within the local area as required.
