About the role
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality person-centered services. Managing a portfolio of NDIS Supported Independent Living Services, the Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring outcomes and deliverables align with Arete Care’s vision, mission and values. As a key member of the leadership team, the Operations Manager is expected to meet a range of outcomes and deliverables which align with Arete Care’s Strategic Plan to achieve its business goals and build a strong and sustainable business. The role has a strong quality, and safeguards focus, ensuring that services meet participant and stakeholder expectations and all regulatory and contractual obligations.
What you'll be doing:
Demonstrate a working knowledge and support of the Arete Care’s policies and procedures.
Compliance with Arete Care’s values, policies and procedures and relevant government legislation and standards where relevant.
Ensure appropriate use of resources.
Actively participate in initiatives to maintain, build upon and promote a positive and collaborative workplace.
Respect individuals right to privacy and Arete Care’s right to protect its information and intellectual property.
Promote a positive safety culture by contributing to health and safety consultation and communication.
Proactively participate in your own supervision and performance development processes and ongoing learning and development.
What we're looking for:
Candidate for this role must be based in Melbourne, VIC.
A relevant qualification in Community Services, Human Resources Management, Business Management.
Demonstrated skills in establishing and maintaining effective professional relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership of remote teams to achieve high performance.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with people we support, their families, community agencies, and other professionals, while effectively managing conflict when it arises.
Time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems and develop effective solutions.
A good understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Act 2013 and other relevant legislation, regulations and standards.
Technical Competencies:
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems.
Capacity to develop a strong understanding of statutory requirements relevant to workplace culture, diversity, and equal opportunity.
