About Us

We are committed to delivering quality services to our NDIS and Aged Care participants, and we're looking for a motivated professional to join our team as a Support Worker.

About the Role

We’re seeking compassionate Support Worker to assist participants with a focus on manual handling, medication administration, personal care, and bilingual ability in communication. The participants require daily support to live safely and comfortably in a shared home and stay connected to the community.

What you will do

  • Provide respectful personal care (showering, grooming, continence support, dressing)
  • Safely perform manual handling and use mobility aids as required
  • Administer/assist with medication in line with competency and care plans
  • Support daily living, meal prep, light housekeeping and community access
  • Complete accurate shift notes and incident reporting
  • Communicate effectively in English and (1) other language (Vietnamese/Mandarin/Cantonese/Thai/Spanish/...) with participants, families and the care team

What you will bring

  • Previous experience in Disability/Aged Care or Personal Care (Stroke/hoist/manual handling experience highly regarded)
  • Certificate III and above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Community Service or Disability will be an advantage.
  • Current valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Warm, respectful communicator who can work independently
  • High level of time management and organisational ability.
