Join Our Team – Youth Residential Support Worker
Location: South Eastern Suburbs.

About the Role
In this role, you will provide support to children and young people aged 10 to 17 years in a residential care setting. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment while promoting their emotional, social, and developmental wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience as a Youth Support Worker in Australia
Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention (highly regarded), or a Certificate IV equivalent qualification with demonstrated experience in youth support work (qualification is mandatory).
NDIS Worker Screening Check Number
Working with Children Check
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster) and influenza
Valid Driver’s Licence (minimum Green P’s) and reliable transport
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Flexible availability for various shifts (including overnight and weekends)
2 Current references (must be a supervisor or above)
Current National Police Check
Mandatory upskilling units required by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing
CHCPRT009 Provide Primary Residential Care
CHCMHS007 Work Effectively in Trauma Informed Care
CHCCCS009 Facilitate Responsible Behaviour
