Home Care Support Worker

As a Home Care Support Worker at Vasey RSL Care you will be responsible for bringing their promises to life for their clients. You do this by providing personal care that supports each client to achieve their cultural, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual goals during personal care and daily living activities. You respect all and honour the ex-service community. You take pride in your role, work as part of an effective team and you deliver and support excellent care, which is person-centred, safe and effective.

The successful candidates will have:

Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Disability.
Proven effective communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to work.
Ability to utilise an electronic documentation system and undertake documentation.
Work co-operatively as part of a team and follow instructions from appropriate supervisor.
Effectively manage time and organise workload.
Ability to understand and comply with legislation, regulations and organisational procedures.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
Reliable and Registered Vehicle and current Comprehensive Car Insurance.
Current driver’s license and ability and willingness to drive to and from client’s homes.
Satisfactory completion of a National Police Records Check.
