About the role:

We are seeking reliable, empathetic, and caring Aged Care Support Workers to assist our clients across Metropolitan Melbourne. We currently have a high demand for carers throughout the Northern, North-Eastern, Eastern, Bayside, and Southeast suburbs.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

Assistance and support with ADLs and IADLs
Providing emotional & social support to the client and their family
Community access and shopping assistance
Providing respite opportunities for the family

To ensure success in this role, you should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest for supporting and helping others, whilst maintaining professionalism, dignity, and respect towards clients and their family throughout your interactions.

Qualifications & experience:

Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care), or equivalent
Minimum 2 years professional experience as a personal carer/support worker, preferably in the aged care or community setting
Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling Certificates

Skills:

Bilingual proficiency (Italian, Greek, Arabic and Hindi) highly desirable
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient, clear, and effective written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work autonomously, within your scope of practice

Other requirements:

Unrestricted Australian working rights
National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
Current Australian full Drivers' Licence
Smart phone access for care management software app
Current full comprehensive insurance on your private vehicle (to be used for work purposes)
